The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it can be alarmed about the superior variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area here every day. The company level made for intervention experiences a large inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to help the servicing of all customers and boost entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
